The story of the movie 'Butcher' is based on the story of cheating with the common foreign travelers in Bangladesh. The story of this movie is arranged by the unique Mamun who proves that "Human Trafficking" happens in the name of sending it abroad. As seen in the story of the movie, five young people want to move abroad with the dream of a better future for themselves and their families. But after being caught by a fraudulent travel agency, they were abducted in the name of sending them abroad. The motive is to kill the hostages by extorting money from their families. Excited, one of the five was killed during the abduction by Nuru, a member of the fraudulent gang who calls himself Nuru Butcher. The other four were abducted and held captive in a char in Bhanga upazila by Nuru Kasai.

The suspects were detained and their families were called to send money with a bank account number. Nuru Butcher forced the four detainees to talk about sending money because they were going to Italy. Meanwhile, one of the four prisoners, Abir's seven-month-pregnant wife reported the matter to the DB police if she suspected it. After learning about the matter, the DB police spoke to the families of the other three and started an investigation on their own. As the first clue, the family of the young man who was killed first out of five was informed. On the other hand, Nuru, the owner of the fraudulent travel agency, started pressuring Kasai for money and informed NB that the matter had reached the DB police. After that, the movie story goes ahead with the efforts of DB to confirm the location of Nuru Kasai and rescue all the detainees. Will DB be able to rescue everyone alive? Will Nuru the butcher be caught by DB in the end? What will happen to the owner of that fraudulent travel agency? Will Abir and the rest be able to return to the family? Will DB ADC Nazneen be able to keep the promise made to the concerned family members? The story of the movie has gone ahead in search of answers to these questions. Back to family?
