Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (translates to Labyrinth 2) is a 2022 Indian Hindi horror comedy film directed by Anees Bazmee and written by Aakash Kaushik. Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the T-Series banner and Murad Khetani under the Cine1 Studios banner, it is a spiritual sequel to Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007) starring Akshay Kumar, the film stars Kartik Aaryan, Tabu, Kiara Advani and Rajpal Yadav.
Set 15 years after the prequel, it revolves around Ruhan, a fraudulent psychic who is brought in to deal with the mystery of Manjulika and his rebirth in Thakur's palace, but inadvertently exacerbates the problems. Principal photography began in October 2019 and filming concluded in February 2022. Filming was primarily at a royal mansion in Lucknow, with other locations including Mumbai and Manali. Aaryan briefly lost her voice while performing for the film's climax sequence.
The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 soundtrack was composed by Pritam and Tanishk Bagchi, with lyrics by Amitabh
Bhattacharya, Sameer, Yo Yo Honey Singh, and Mandy Gill. It features a single remix of the theme song from Neeraj Shridhar's 2007 film. Originally scheduled for July 31, 2020, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has been delayed due to the COVID19 pandemic. It was released in theaters on May 20, 2022. A chance but determined meeting between two strangers, Ruhaan and Reet, ends with them visiting Reet's hometown in Rajasthan.
